“Mardi Rollow is a solist and dance director with the international dance company, Aman. She is a specialist in the music and dance of Tunisia, where she resided for several years, and has travelled extensively in North Africa and the Near East. A recent grant enabled her to return to Morocco to film and record the dance and music performed by the traditional entertainers called shikhat.
